Hope Lies at the London Film Festival 2012

It’s that time of year again. The London Film Festival dominates much of the next four weeks. We’ve spent but the first two days at press fortnight and have already seen a wealth of great movies. From Mads Mikkelsen’s remarkable turn in Thomas Vinterberg’s The Hunt to Laurence Anyways, the incredibly assured third film from Xavier Dolan thus far the films offered up for appraisal have impressed greatly.

While our complete coverage of the festival will run concurrently with the event itself (October 10th to October 21st) we thought it worth mentioning now if not only to excuse the lack of an episode of Film Clash this week. Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for on-the-floor instantaneous updates.
